Viola Meehan


Ms. Meehan served as Chief Financial Officer of Vanqua Bio, Inc. from January 2020 to her retirement in January 2023. From April 2009 to November 2019, Ms. Meehan served as Vice President, Research & Development Finance & Operations group at AbbVie Inc. Ms. Meehan joined Abbott in 1992 and progressed through a wide variety of finance leadership roles supporting Commercial, R&D, Operations, Business Development and other Corporate functions until joining AbbVie Inc. in 2009. Ms. Meehan began her career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP. Ms. Meehan earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Daniel Camardo


Mr. Camardo has served as President of Immedica North America, a subsidiary of Immedica Pharma AB, since September 2024. Prior to joining Immedica Pharma AB, Mr. Camardo was Principal of CLC Biopharma, LLC providing consulting services to clinical stage biotech and specialty pharmaceutical companies. From February 2022 to January 2024, Mr. Camardo served as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors at Athersys, Inc. In 2022, Mr. Camardo joined the Healthcare Program at the Kellogg School of Management, where he teaches a course on Pharmaceutical Strategy. Prior to joining Athersys, Inc., Mr. Camardo was Executive Vice President and President U.S. of Horizon Therapeutics plc, a biotechnology company focused on serious, rare autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Prior to joining Horizon Therapeutics plc in 2015, Mr. Camardo spent 11 years with Astellas Pharma Inc., a global pharmaceutical company based in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Camardo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Rochester and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Pamela D. Garzone, Ph.D.

Pamela D. Garzone, age 71, joined our board of directors in April 2023. Dr. Garzone has served as the Chief Development Officer at Anixa Biosciences, Inc., a company focused on oncology and infectious diseases, since September 2021. She currently is an independent director for Centivax and Temple Therapeutics, private biotechnology companies and as a scientific advisor to National Foundation of Cancer Research, a non-profit organization supporting cancer research. Prior to joining Anixa, Dr. Garzone served as the Chief Medical Officer at Calibr, a division of the Scripps Research Institute from May 2019 to May 2021. From May 2009 through May 2019, Dr. Garzone served as the Vice President, Group Asset Team Lead focused on early oncology clinical research at Pfizer Inc. Dr. Garzone earned a B.S. degree in pharmacy from Purdue University and an M.S. in pharmacy practice and Ph.D. in clinical science from the University of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Garzone’s extensive knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry in general, and drug development in particular, with operational and strategic expertise, makes her well qualified to serve on our board of directors. 

Shao-Lee Lin M.D., Ph.D.

Shao Lee-Lin M.D., Ph.D., brings more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical leadership experience to Cue Biopharma. Prior to joining Cue, Dr. Lin served as Chief Executive Officer and chairman of the board of directors of AZEO BIO, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company she founded in July 2024 and incorporated in July 2025. Dr. Lin was Founder, Chief Executive Officer and director of ACELYRIN, a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, from July 2020 until May 2024. Earlier in her career, Dr. Lin served as Executive Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer at Horizon Therapeutics and held executive leadership positions at AbbVie, Gilead Sciences and Amgen. Dr. Lin also served on the board of directors of ACELYRIN, Surrozen, Principia Biopharma and Third Harmonic Bio. Dr. Lin received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and biochemistry and graduated magna cum laude from Rice University. She holds an M.D. and Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

Pasha Sarraf, M.D., Ph.D.

Pasha Sarraf, age 56, joined our board of directors in March 2025. Dr. Sarraf has served as Principal at Upupa Advisory, a strategic advisory firm, since 2023, and CEO and Managing Director at Celosia Holdings and Ventures. Dr. Sarraf previously served as the Chief Executive Officer and executive board member of Matterhorn Biosciences, a biotechnology company, from 2021 to 2023, where he built a supportive team and scaled the scientific effort to demonstrate the value of their T-cell receptors-based platform. Prior to joining Matterhorn Biosciences, Dr. Sarraf served as an Operating Partner of Flagship Pioneering, a venture capital company, from 2020 to 2021. There, he led a team at a portfolio company of Flagship Pioneering who discovered novel genetic circuits in Parkinson’s Disease, initiating a drug discovery program for an innovative target that was later licensed by GSK plc. Prior to joining Flagship Pioneering, Dr. Sarraf served as Senior Wall Street Analyst and Managing Director at Leerink Partners, formerly SVB Leerink. Prior to that, Dr. Sarraf joined McKinsey & Company in 2008 and served in various roles, including as Partner in the life sciences practice from 2015 through 2018, where he focused on strategy, diligence and forecasting. Dr. Sarraf is a member of the boards of directors of biotechnology companies PolarityBio and Praesidia Biotherapeutics, where he serves as Chairman. Dr. Sarraf obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. at Harvard Medical School and trained in internal medicine and rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and National Institutes of Health, focusing on vasculitis, scleroderma and genetic inflammatory disorders. Dr. Sarraf has authored over 50 publications and multiple patents for novel therapies and molecular targets. Dr. Sarraf’s extensive experience in the business of science and biotechnology makes him well qualified to serve on our board of directors.
